"Red" by treble charger
++++++++++++++++++++++++
There is already a post of this song originally by Paul Nazaroff, then
redone by Andrew Davis. Now, it's been tampered with again by us. Our
way is slightly different in the opening bit, different chords for the
chorus, and a more true-to-the-original solo.
Figured out the real way by Jocelyn Mallard and Steve Hardy
(zosm@hotmail.com)

Red
by Treble Charger
Off their independent release (Don't know what it's called)
Original tab by Paul Nazaroff
(email was paul.nazaroff@canrem.com but that is not working)
Figured out chords.
Overhauled, facelifted, and generally screwed with by Andrew Davis
(davisa@rcsn.nb.ca)
Added intro, outro, and solo, changed chord names to tablature, and
corrected some errors.
I've tried to space tabs a bit to give a sense of timing, but it's pretty
much impossible if you can't listen to the song while you learn it, so I
suggest you play the song on your stereo a few times while you try to play
it. In other words, "it is important to play the record over and over,
because you learn by listening. Later, we will tell you how to order
breakfast just as you would at any colorful German restaurant."
(You need to have the KMFDM single 'Mdfmk' to get that one)
Anyway, this probably has a couple errors in it, but I think it sounds
close enough to the original song. During the verse, the chords given are
played by the 2nd guitar, and the intro is played under it by the lead
guitar. When you're playing with just one guitar, I find it sounds better
hitting the chords.
My amp has 3 EQ knobs - bass, middle, and high. I find it sounds most like
the recording with treble maxed, middle low, and bass maxed. This makes
the most difference in the chorus, as it makes the distortion sound different.
Notes:
h = hammer-on \ = slide down
^ = bend p = pull-off
/ = slide up
