In response to a request a few weeks ago, I have sat down and typed in
the tab for this more intricate than it looks song from the book. The bass and
xylophone sound parts are also from the book. I will also be sending this to
Nevada for archiving.

(A refresher on symbols used in case anybody's perplexed)

A Letter To Elise
by The Cure

Intro

---------------------------------|---------------------------------------|

Acoustic twelve-string guitar
(since this is all on the A string, I will save space by not typing out a
full tab)

A---2-4-4-2-4-4-2-4---2-4---------|-------------%-------------|

A---2-4-4-2-4-4-2-4---2-4---2-4-4-|-5--5-5-5--5-5--4--2--0--2-|

Play these two parts once, then repeat and add these next two parts on top

Guitar
E--5------------------5--|--------------------------|
B-----------5------5-----|-5------------5--------5--|
G--------4------4--------|---------4--4-----4--4----|

E-2------------------2---|-----------------------------|

Play all four patterns twice through; on the end of the second begin the
vocals ("Oh Elise it doesn't matter...")

Under the vocals, play the intro twelve-string pattern and this bass part:

---------------------------------|-------------------------------|

the second verse with only the second bass part. Go straight into the third
