this is how i play this damn great static-x song.any comments, corrections, suggestions
are welcome.i use the ZOOM 505-II effects processor and set it up so that my guitar
sounds more or less like this great band.my zoom patch for this song has these parameters:

DIST : Mt
GAIN : 30
EQ : 30
CONT : 0
ZNR : 9
MOD : of
DELAY : of
TIME : --

for my amp setting, i crank the bass and treble all the way up, and the mid at 5.
NOTE: the second part of the verses is, i think, played by two guitars played alternately.
but our band has only 1 guitarist (me!) so i just play the other guitar's part with
an upstroke to somehow simulate the effect.
