Solo: Dum dum Deeeeeeeerm! drum role (lol)
get some microphinic feedback (ie not cause by the string vibrating) by switching wa wa on
and puting in toe down possition and getting close to amp.
Then toggle bettween the two pickups to turn the feedback on and off. Then when apropriate
Silde hand around frets.
Key for solo: #=switch to bridge pickup
\ /= slide hand up or down frets
1st bit:(1 e + a 2 e + a 3 e + a 4 e + a)
# # # # \\\\\\# # # # # \\\\\\# x 4 (fourth time vary w/ more slides)
2nd bit:////\\\\\////\\\\# # # #######)
3rd bit:\\\\\# # \\\\# # \\\ \ \ \ \ \\\) x 2 (vary last time)
The end!:
After the outro chorus Tom picks up a radio station through his guitar. This is probably a fluke since he
doesn't do it live on the recording i have but if you must work it out then ask Tom Morello the next time
you see him. Otherwise just sustain the last notes (open A and seventh fret at the D string) and pray!
