PETE YORN - "Strange Condition" Tablature
Official PETE YORN Tablature & Sheet Music »
PROPS GO TO: Steve
The other version on this site with the 3 star rating is incorrect, as it only contains the chords used in the middle of the song. This is a cool tune. It doesn't follow the pattern of most songs. The chords in the opening verse are only used in the first two lines. Some of the chords are played in different positions, so depending upon how good your ear is and how long you have been playing, you might be able refine this version a bit. But for the most part, this should be the real thing. Enjoy! ‘STRANGE CONDITION’ Pete Yorn A F#m D A Read me the letter baby do not leave out the words A F#m D A Stories and cigarettes ruined lives of lesser girls E And I want to know D A Cause I want you to know C#m D And it’s a strange condition C#m D A day in prison C#m Its got me out of my head D Bm E And I don’t know what I came for G Em Send me the money baby C G Do not leave out the wage G Em You know your the best thing C G Ever come out of this place D Hey I want you to know C G Cause I want to know Bm C And it’s a strange condition Bm C A day in prison Bm Its got me out of my head C Am D And I don’t know what I came for Am D I want you to know SOLO: G / / / Em / / / C / / / G / / / -2 times D / / / D / / / C / / / G / / / Bm C It’s a strange condition Bm C A day in prison Bm It got me out of my head now C Am D And I don’t know what I came for Am D I want you to know Am I want you to know G Em So leave out the others, baby C G And say I’m the only one G Em C G And color the uniforms and sail with the sun D Hey I want to know C G Cause I want to know Bm C And it’s a strange condition Bm C A life in prison Bm It’s got me out of my head C Am D And I don’t know what I came for Am D I want you to know Am D I want you to know (repeat till end)
