DEAR FRIEND
by Paul McCartney
from the album "Wings Wild Life" (1971)
transcribed by James
This was Paul's response to Lennon, who had been attacking Paul in the press
and on the "Imagine" album with the song "How do You Sleep?" Lennon compared
Paul to Englebert Humperdink, calling him nothing more than a ham. Imagine
asking someone how they sleep at night simply because they write ballads!
How asinine.
Cm Cm7/Bb
Dear friend, what's....
Abmaj7
Is this ....
Cm Cm7/Bb Abmaj7
Does it really mean so much to you?
Fm Dm7b5 Cm
Are you a fool or is it true?
