So Much to Say
As played by Dave Mattews Band on 'Crash'

(Elaboration is welcome)

(that's about it)
The bass line in this song is very expandable and is very easy to adlib on
becayse it is all basically pieces of an A chord. Lots of sliding and changing
between octaves of a note happens, too. None of the notes are held except
those I have marked as being held.
The bass enters the song with the drums.
This is the main riff during which Dave is singing the verses.

The slide down from 8 at the end leads into the riff and this is played over
and over until the part I assume to be the chorus or bridge. At the end of the
measure before the chorus, they leave out the slide down from 8. Instead, the
5 is held through to the beginning of the chorus and hit again there.
(I tried my best to get these lyrics in sync with the line)

After this, they just go back into the verse riff.
Enjoy.
