Ok, I am sick of people getting this song wrong. I am new to this tab thing and I have only been playing a month but I will do my best to explain.
When you play the 5th and 7th frets (the ones in the brackets) you need to put you finger over the whole of the bottom fret bar. For example, on the fifth fret you have to bars..er.. Doh! How can I explain this? (see below)
(This Bar) (this Bar)

B--------|------------|------------|------------|-----------|
G--------|------------|------------|------------|-----------|
D--------|------------|------------|------------|-----------|
A--------|------------|------------|------------|-----------|
D--------|------------|------------|------------|-----------|
4th fret 5th Fret 6th Fret 7th Fret 8th Fret
It is very important that you only place your finger lightly over he bar. When you play it, it sounds different because there are pressure points on the 5th 7th and 12th frets. Well anyway, with practice you will get it perfected. You play the rest normally. O Yer, crank up the distortion! Good Luck. E-mail me if u have any problems.
