Rollin' by Limp Bizkit
Album: Chocolate St*rfish and the Hotdog Flavored Water
Tabbed by: SugarJay69
Hey y'all, this is in response to the horrible tabs of Rollin'
that are up right now. That's what you get when non-Limp fans
(or Limp fans that don't know how to play guitar) tab Wes Borland's
work. Don't worry about having a 7 string or not... he's changed
to Paul Reed Smith six string guitars now.
Borland's guitars are almost always tuned to standard C# tuning,
except for songs like Nookie and Hot Dog, where he uses his
infamous 4 string Ibanez.
Standard C# tuning!!
Intro riff (the notes are very staccato-like):
-----------------
-----------------
-------------0-0-
-------9-9-9-----
-7-7-7-----------
-----------------
Main riff (the part that everybody got wrong):
----------------------------------------
----------------------------------------
----------------------------------------
----------------------------------------
-2-2-2-9-9-9-7-7-7-5-5-5-4-4-4-7\-7\-7\-
-0-0-0-7-7-7-5-5-5-3-3-3-2-2-2-7\-7\-7\-
This is how it is played! If it doesn't sound right to you,
tune your guitar down to C#!!!! I did!
Verse riff(palm muted):
----------------------------------------------------------
----------------------------------------------------------
----------------------------------------------------------
----------------------------------------------------------
----------14-14-14-12-12-12-------------------------------
-12-12-12-------------------15-15-15-14-14-14-12\-12\-12\-
The shout out part (except for the last time, where he only does
the slide once):
---------
---------
---------
---------
---------
-12\-12\-
For the most part, that is the song. Any other noises, like the
horn part mentioned in earlier tabs is just DJ Lethal adding
in parts. I will be around more often now that exams are over,
and I will be double checking these Limp tabs out...
I'd do some more, but I not very good at two-hand tapping like Wes.
After all, I'm a drummer! hahahaha
Out y'all.
