Green Tambourine
by the Lemon Pipers
Tabbed by Nat Trask
This here is my own work.
Sitar Intro
E :----------------|----------------|----------------|--1-------------|
B :0-----0--1--3---|3-1-0---0-------|-------0----0-1-|3-------3---1---|
G :----------------|----------3-2-0-|0-2-3-----------|----------------|
D :----------------|----------------|----------------|----------------|
A :----------------|----------------|----------------|----------------|
E :----------------|----------------|----------------|----------------|
E :----------------|
B :0---0-----------|
G :-------3--2--0--|
D :----------------|
A :----------------|
E :----------------|
Verse-
A pretty standard I-V-IV, I play it two different ways
This un here sounds more like the record
|3---3-----5---3-|3---3-----5---3-|
|3---3-----7---5-|3---3-----7---5-|
|4---4-----7---5-|4---4-----7---5-|
|5---5-----7---5-|5---5-----7---5-|
|5---5-----5---3-|5---5-----5---3-|
|3---3-----------|3---3-----------|
But this one is much easier to play on the acoustick
|3---3-----2---0-|3---3-----2---0-|
|0---0-----3---1-|0---0-----3---1-|
|0---0-----2---0-|0---0-----3---0-|
|0---0-----0---2-|0---0-----0---2-|
|2---2---------3-|2---2---------3-|
|3---3-----------|3---3-----------|
Chorus-
The chorus is a bit funky, it goes:
C Cm
Come on it feeds my music machine
D
Won't you ...
While yer singing the word tambourine theres a little descending lick=20
that goes=20
|-------------------------------|
|3--1--0------------------------|
|---------3--2--0---------------|
|-------------------------------|
|-------------------------------|
|-------------------------------|
That pretty much it! The outro is the same as the intro but with some =
flats
thrown in every here and there. There isn't much order to it the guy was =
probly
just on drugs. Thanks for reading my cool tab.
