That part probably isn't right, but it's hard to hear.
Since I only have my one guitar, and I can't sing, I like to play this
a little differently. I mix both parts together as best I can, first
of all. For the chords, I only play the top four strings for the
quieter parts. I also add an extra G# on the high E string, at the end
of each first line.
"Throughout history, there have been many songs written about the eternal
triangle. This next one tells the story of a Mr. Grayson, a beautiful
woman, and a condemned man named Tom Dooley. When the sun rises tomorrow,
Tom Dooley must hang."

Hang down your head Tom Dooley
F#m
Hang down your head and cry
Hang down your head Tom Dooley
E
Poor boy you're bound to die
I met her on the mountain
There I took her life
Met her on the mountain
Stabbed her with my knife
Chorus
This time tomorrow
Reckon where I'll be
Hadn't have been for Grayson
I'd have been in Tennessee
Chorus (x2)
This time tomorrow
Reckon where I'll be
Down in some lonesome valley
Hanging from a white oak tree
Chorus (x2)
