"Captain Fantastic and the Brown Dirt Cowboy"
from the album of the same name
written by Elton John/Bernie Taupin
Transcribed/tabbed by Scot the Hoople (scotthehoople@cox.net)
Here's one of my all-time favorite songs from E.J. (or from any artist, =
for that matter). Pick out the opening melody, making the transition =
from picked notes to chords as smooth as possible. I found it's smoother =
to use a barre G for the first chord. Your middle finger should fret the =
slide to the B note on the 4th fret G string, allowing you to grab the =
barre G chord easily.=20
This is my first tab (all my own work!), so feel free to submit =
corrections or write to tell me what you think. Enjoy!
