Tuning: I'm using "Dropped-D" and everything down a half-step. Why am I down
a half step? Good question. I'm too lazy to tune back to "standard."
It doesnt matter a whole lot tho. As to which way he actually plays it
I sure dont know. But this works for me.

Its easier to play the intro in std tuning, its easier to play the rest
of the song's powerchords in dropped-d.

Play Guide:

For those of you pros out there, you can disregard this part. I just remember when
I was trying to figure out tabs and sometimes having trouble getting a visual for
just exactly how I was supposed to play a song.

Intro tips:
For the intro slide, I have my index finger on the 4th fret of the lowest string. I have my middle finger already on the 5th fret of the B string like in #1 where all the x's are deadened strings by my index finger. Then whenever I do the slide up from 4 to 6, my finger is all ready to play the 7th fret there. Then its just getting your pinky and ring finger on the 9th and 8th fret to pull off the smooth transition for #2.

For the second part of the intro, I have my ring finger on the 4th fret of the lowest string with my index finger on the second fret of the highest. You're kindof all stretched across the fretboard but it makes it easy to use your pinky and ring finger to play the 4th and 3rd frets respectively.

Picking in the middle tips:
Right before this riff, you've just played a chord where your finger is already barring the 4th fret (1). As I'm letting that ring, I go ahead and fret the next part of the song and then just slide my index finger to the 6th fret (2) to begin the next part (3).
