SONG : "Breathe Around You" from album "Lovesongs For Underdogs"
ARTIST : Tanya Donelly
CHORDED BY : Me! Daniel G.
I initially worked out out from her version live off Jools Holland,
Then tried it on the album version, and they're the same.
So there you go. I did it all myself, I'm well proud - I'm not
Really a guitar player ^teehee^
YOU WILL NEED A CAPO ON 2nd FRET!
I don't know if Tanya uses a capo or not, but
I need one because I can't play bar chords -
You need to without a capo. Just transpose
Everything back if you don't have one/don't want one.
INTRO :
A C E G G x 4
VERSE :
A C E G G x 8
PRE CHORUS :
E G G [pause] E G G
Abx8 G
CHORUS :
Ax3
Then slide down a fret on A [like Ab6]x3
Play all open
Gx3
A C E G G x 2
Then repeat.
SOLO :
A C E G G x 4.
VERSE :
A C E G G x 15
End on Ax2
CHORUS :
As before
BRIDGE :
A C E G G x 4
E g g e g g e g g e g g
Abx8 G
CODA :
Ax3
Then slide down a fret on A [like Ab6]x3
Play all open
Gx3
[play 4 times]
A A A A G
NOTES :
Now, I'm pretty sure that the first half of chorus/coda
Isn't quite correct, but it's the best I could do.
Please let me know what the right ones are if you know.
This is my first ever go at properly working something
Out. I chose this one because it was quite
Repetetive.
Here's the tab of the bass-line sorta thing in the
Verses [for guitar, I've no idea what it is on a bass]
On low E string - with capo on 2. It's the same
Frets with a capo, just open string.
E|---7-10-2-5-5-7-10-2-5-5-7-10-2-5-5-7-10
Enjoy! Let me know if you can get the solos done,
And fix up the cruddy bits.
