Forget Her - Jeff Buckley (Unreleased)
Tabbed by William Smith - 2001
This is a provisional tab. Email waps100@york.ac.uk
for latest version. "Forget Her" is an unreleased
track, that I reckon ranks amongst Jeff's best
songs. It was originally going to appear on Grace,
but Jeff changed his mind right at the last minute
and dropped it, probably because he felt the
material was too personal (it was a about his only
really serious girl friend). However, during the
grace sessions he did record it and he played it
live a couple of times. It appears on some bootleg
CDs but it can easily be located on Napster in
192Kbps format. Please do not contact me regarding
the actual song as I won't distribute it. I would
love comments or corrections on the tab.
I believe this song uses DROP-D tuning, you can
play without, but it makes the chords harder.
