311-Feels so Good
Verse:
======
G:----------------------------------------2-
D:------------------3-2-----------3-2-3-----
A:-5-5-5----------------5-5-------------5---
E:-------3-3-3-5-5----------3-4-5-----------
B:------------------------------------------
[Solo - Version 1:]
The other part follow the guitar exactly, so I'm not going to worry about
tabbing that out....as for the solo it's something like this:
Very Fast
1:--------7----------7----------7----------7-
2:------------x--x-------x--x-------x--x-----
3:-------------------------------------------
4:-0h5---------------------------------------
(triplet)
[Solo - Version 2:]
(ex: RRL RRL meaning slap righthand righthand lefthand)
Enlarged To show detail vertion:
1:---7-7-x-7-x-7-x-7-x-7-7------|
2:*--7-7-x-7-x-7-x-7-x-7-7--rrl*|<-- slap
3:*--5-5-x-5-x-5-x-5-x-5-5--rrl*|<----^
4:------------------------------|
Repeat one time then...
Slap all strings..rrlr rrlr rrlr rrlr
After that repeat the whole thing over again once.
About 4 times. Then:
1:-----7---5--7--------7---5--7-
2:------------------------------
3:------------------------------
4:-0---------------0------------
[Solo - Version 3:]
G:------------7----------7----------7----------7---------
D:-------------------------------------------------------
A:-------------------------------------------------------
E:-0-h-5--5--------x-x--------x-x--------x-x-------5---5-
B:-------------------------------------------------------
+ + * + + * + + * + + * + +
KEY: +=Slap *=Pop
NOTE: The very beginning of this transcription (up to and including
the first pop at 7 on the G string). This creates p-nut's often used
percussive sound. You should hear 4 seperate sounds (somewhat like
"buddle-a-bup"). Play the above transcription 3 times, then do this:
G:----------7-----5-h-7-
D:----------------------
A:----------------------
E:-0-h-5-5-----x--------
B:----------------------
+ + * + *
Repeat 3 times, but don't do the 5-h-7 the 3rd time.
[Solo - Version 4:]
The fist part sounds okay for a 4-string bass, but I think he's [P-Nut] using a
5-string on the CD recorded version. I can hear that all three notes are
E's when he first starts out.
G:-----------------7--------7-------7-
D:------------------------------------
A:------------------------------------
E:-0-----0---x--x-----X--X-----x--x---
B:---h5-------------------------------
The little fast part at the end once he stops using to triplet sounds
wrong (CD version); Here's what I came up with.
G:-------5----5h7p5--------5----5h7p5---5-
D:----------------------------------------
A:----------------------------------------
E:-X--X--------------X--X-----------------
B:----------------------------------------
There might be a few more muted notes in there, but you can find those out by
listening to it.
[Version 2:]
Intro & Prechorus

3:-5-5--5-5----------5---------5-5----5-5------------3///5--5----
4:----------3-3-5-5------------------------3-3-5-5---------------
The middle just doubles the guitar
Beat that thing! (slap and pop)
(on fourth repeat add:)
1:-----7-----7-----7-----7---7-7-----|---------7--7-p-5-------
2:---------------------------0-0-----|--------------------7-7-
